Obituary
(Suzie) passed away suddenly on Sunday Feb.3,2019 in Vancouver at the age of 59. Predeceased by younger sister Julie. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Doug, son Jared and daughter Natalie. Also, by parents Bernie and Louise Smith, brother Rob and sister Nancy, together with many long-time friends who loved her dearly. Suzie had a successful career with the Royal Bank but turned to teaching the mentally and physically challenged several years ago (a profession that she loved) ending up at Handsworth Secondary School until her passing. Family came first, reflected by her many glowing comments about her “awesome” family and her many outward displays of affection to her husband and children. A Viewing / Visitation will be held at Columbia-Bowell Funeral Chapel, 219 6th St. New Westminster, BC on Tuesday, Feb. 12 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Details of other services will be provided later.
