With broken hearts, Adam and Dana Steadman announce the passing of their perfect daughter Isla Hunter Steadman on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, six days shy of her due date. Although we didn’t have you long enough, we were the luckiest parents to have been able to love you and share in your special journey. You left a permanent imprint on our hearts, and we will never forget you. Isla will always be treasured by her grandparents Tom and Carol Steadman, and Rob and Julie Hislop; aunts and uncles Rick and Maria, Nicole and Matt, Mike and Jill, Meghan and Brent, and Kristen; cousins Braxton and Reece; great-grandparents Marie and the late Lyle Steadman, Dick and the late Bernice Hunter, Mary and the late Don Hislop, and the late James and the late Joyce Bullbrook, and the rest of the Steadman, Hislop, Hunter, and Bullbrook families. Our family is so grateful for the incredible support we received from our midwives Bonnie and Rebecca, Dr. Elkelani, and the nurses at Bluewater Health, especially Holly, Jody and Lynda. We were touched by your ability to laugh with us, cry with us, and guide us through this difficult time. We also wish to thank all of our family and friends for their kind words, prayers, and hugs. We have felt them all.
