Sharon’s Obituary
At Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Saturday February 2, 2019. Sharon Leona Thompson nee Eagles of Markdale in her 74th year.
Beloved wife of Allan Thompson, Loving mother of Wendy Hay (Richard) of Wytheville, Virginia; Cindy Evans (Jeff) of Markdale; and Terry Thompson (Tanya) of Markdale. Cherished grandmother of Taylor & Tanner Hay; Braydon & Connor Evans; and Tyson & Tyler Thompson. Sadly missed by siblings Dennis Eagles (Bonnie); Donna Eagles; Gerald Eagles (Sandy); Doug Eagles (Gwenda); Brenda May (Scott); and sister-in-law Lynda Eagles. Sharon will be remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by parents Wilmer “Shorty” & Janie Eagles and brother Ken Eagles. Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Annesley United Church, 82 Toronto St. South, Markdale, on Saturday February 9, 2019 at 2:00 p.m., where the family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 pm to 2:00 p.m. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
