Sandra M. Shipley
1946-2019
It is with saddened hearts that we
announce the peaceful passing of the late Sandra M.
Shipley after a brief illness at the Cumberland
Regional Health Care Centre on Sunday, February 17,
2019.
Born in Sackville, NB, she was a
daughter of the late Robert and Daisy Mae (Kaye) Peach.
Sandra was involved with the
1st Battalion of The Nova Scotia Highlanders
(North). She was an animal lover. Her happiest
place was “The Shore” and her Gardens.
Sandra was predeceased by her parents;
sister Margaret; brother Kencel (Betty).
She will be dearly missed by her
daughters Ann Estabrooks, Dieppe NB, Carol Rice, Dieppe, NB
and Bonny (Jason) Conrad, Steeves Mountain, NB; grandson Eric Rice of
Moncton, NB.
Arrangements are under the care and
direction of Jones Family Funeral Centre,
70 Church St., Amherst, NS (902-667-8777). The family will receive
visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm.
Her funeral service will be held at Jones Family Funeral Centre on
Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 2 pm, Life Celebrant Scott Balser
officiating. Burial will take place in the
spring.
Should friends desire, memorial
contributions may be made to the Autumn House, the Royal Canadian
Legion, or the charity of your choice.
