Ruth M. Wood
1954-2019
The death of Ruth Margaret Wood of Florenceville occurred on Thursday,
February 7, 2019 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born
July 22, 1954 in Bath she was the daughter of the late Atthyl and
Margaret (Miller) Tompkins. She was also predeceased by her husband,
Carl; 1 sister, Grace Smith and brother in law, Darold Haines.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Keisha Miller (Jedd); 2 grandsons,
Kasey and Mason; 2 sisters, Phyllis Galbraith (Gordon) and Connie
Harris (Donnie); 1 brother in law, Earl Smith as well as many nieces,
nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be held from L. R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207
Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Monday, February 11, 2019 from
5-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2019
at 2:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Pastor Nathan Smith
will officiate. The interment will be in the Hunter Cemetery at a
later date. Donations made to Burnham Road Cathedral would be
