1954 – 2019
After a battle with illness, Russell LeRoy Nickerson, of R.R. # 1 Eden, passed away at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at the age of 65 years. Dear brother of Bill Nickerson of Port Burwell, Ernest Nickerson of Eden and Donna Vandewiele (Jean) of Brantford. Russell is also survived by his two nieces Tracey Norris of LaSalette and Brenda Scott of Cobourg as well as many cousins and friends. Predeceased by his parents Donald and Eva (Zimmer) Nickerson. In keeping with Russell’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held at Eden Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
