Passed peacefully away on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Ronald Joseph Birmingham at the age of 78 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 49 years Louise Birmingham (nee Wiseman); sons: Gregory Birmingham and Ronald (Tina) Birmingham; grandchildren: Matthew, Mallory and Noelle; sister Helen (William) Beyers; brothers:: Gerald Birmingham and Edward (Jo) Birmingham; sisters-in-law: Shirley Birmingham, Viola Birmingham, Frances Prowse, Marie Collier, Carmel Cowen and Madonna (Kenneth) King; brothers-in-law: Michael Wiseman and Gerard (Kathy) Wiseman; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Edward and Mary Birmingham, sisters Joan (Aubrey) Levins and Margaret Reynolds, brothers James (Anne) Birmingham and Robert Birmingham. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Tuesday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. from The Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mount Bernard Avenue with Father Ray officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.
