Passed away on February 15, 2019 at the age of 90. Beloved father of Elizabeth and Louise (Patrick) and grandfather of Carla and Mckenzie. Predeceased by his wife Arlene (1972) and his companion Lucia (2015). Dear brother of Fernando, Erminio, Angelo, Antonina (deceased) and Raffaele (deceased). Rocco was born in Gagliano Aterno, L’Aquila, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1949. He retired from Canada Post with 26 years of service as a letter carrier, and was a member of the Community of Gagliano Aterno Social Club. Rocco will always be remembered for his love of wine-making and gardening. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. E. (near James) on Wednesday February 20th from 2-4p.m. & 6-8 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 6:00p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Anthony of Padua Church on Thursday, February 21st, 2019 at 2:00p.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rocco to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated.
