Robin Rebecca Amirault 19592019

Robin Rebecca Amirault
1959-2019
On Monday, February 25, 2019, “Bubby” Robin
Amirault, of Saint John, loving mother, grandmother and aunt, passed
away suddenly at the age of 60. Born on January 20, 1959 in Yarmouth,
NS.
Growing up in Yarmouth, Bubby could be quite mischievous at
times, always seeming to know where to find a little
trouble. But would look back on those times with great
fondness of the memories she shared and the lifelong friendships that
were made. Making her way to Saint John in her
mid-20’s, it’s there she set down her roots, had
her daughter, played a major role in the lives of her nieces and later
went on to raise her grandson.
Bubby enjoyed spending time with family, catching up with
friends at the Bowlarama, Friday nights at Union Street Bingo and
looked forward to weekly dinners at her nieces. She was
known for her kindness, strength and for always being there when you
needed her.
Bubby will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Erica
Amirault and grandson Brandon both of Saint John, her sister Wanda
Haley of Yarmouth, NS, her daughter-like-nieces: Krysta
Amirault-Bowden (Shawn) and Lisa Hartley (Andy Gaudette) all of Saint
John, Nanny Bubby’s Boy Brennan Hartley and Nanny
Bubby’s Girl, Charlotte Watson both of Saint John.
She was adored by her nieces: Tammy Flint, Heidi Flint, Angela Flint
(George Richardson), Megan Flint, Nadine Flint, Brandy Flint,
Christine Flint, Rebecca Flint (Randy Daigle) Cathline Flint (Brian
Stoddard) Chrissy Haley (Dave Muise) and Nicole Bigney, as well as her
nephews: Alex Flint, Daniel Ryan (Kennedy Watson), Brayden Ryan,
Clarke Haley (Laura Surette) and Scott Bigney, along with several
cousins, great nieces, great nephews and many friends.
Bubby was predeceased by her mother Phyllis Amirault of
Yarmouth, NS, brother Alexander Christie of Mississippi, sisters:
Imogene Flint of Saint John and Cynthia Amirault of Yarmouth, NS and
great nephew Alexzender Flint-Kerr of Saint John.
Bubby’s family would like to extend a special
“thank you” to her cousin Sherry Martin (Gary) and Melanie
King (Shaun) for all the support and devotion they’ve shown
to Bubby and Brandon over the years. As well as Dr. Reiman
and the staff of the Oncology Department at the Saint John Regional
Hospital for their compassion, and empathy.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111
Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) where visitation
will take place on Thursday, February 28 from 2-4 and 6-8. A
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 1 at 2 PM from
Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Following cremation,
services taking place in Yarmouth, NS will be held at a later
date.
For those who wish, remembrances may be made to
the Oncology Department of the Saint John Regional Hospital.
