July 11, 1960 – January 27, 2019
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Robert “Bob” Brake announce his sudden passing at his home on January 27, 2019 at the age of 58 years. Bob will be forever loved and missed by his two sons: Jeremy (Natasha), and Jared; his two granddaughters Katie and Hollie, and his furry companion Midnight, his loving mother Geraldine Brake, three sisters: Debbie (George) of Benoits Cove, Nancy (Peter) of Mount Pearl, Linda (Johnny) of Fort Nelson B.C, nieces and nephews: Scott, Joshua, Brittany, Jessica, Kaitlyn, Courtney, Brayden and a circle of friends and extended family. Robert was predeceased by his father William Brake in 2009. Following Roberts request Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Thursday, February 7th from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where Funeral Service will take place at the Chapel on Friday, February 8th at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Strike Foundation 1037 Topsail Road Mount Pearl, NL A1N 5E9.
