Robert “Bob” Douglas Dearman
1947-2019
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Robert
“Bob” Douglas Dearman, husband of the late Elizabeth
Dearman, announces his passing, which occurred on Tuesday, January 29,
2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by his family.
Born on January 26, 1947, Bob was a lifetime resident of Saint
John. He was a son of the late Gordon and Inez (Miller)
Dearman.
Bob served as a Private/Gunner in the Royal Canadian Horse
Artillery. He worked as a stores technician in the Canadian
Coast Guard until his retirement. He loved family functions
and was a favorite uncle to his many nephews and nieces. He
will be missed by his many friends at Pete’s and the Adanac
Club.
He will be lovingly remembered by his sisters: Florence
Crandall (Wayne) and Nancy MacDonald (Russell); brothers: Gordon
“David” Dearman (April) and Clyde Dearman (Pat);
sister-in-law, Valerie Dearman; special friend, Ruth Ross; along with
many nephews and nieces.
In addition to his wife and parents, Bob was predeceased by
brothers: John A. Dearman (Ann) and Paul
Dearman.
Arrangements are under the care of
Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111
Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). Visitation will be
held on Monday, February 4, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00
– 8:00 pm. Interment will be held at Ocean View
Memorial Gardens in the spring. Remembrances to a charity of
the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the
family.
