Reta Rose (Hardiman)
Reta Rose, age 100, of First Peninsula, passed away peacefully January 8, 2019 at Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg.
Born in Belleoram NL, she was the daughter of the late William and Cecelia Hardiman.
A resident of Harbour View Haven and formerly of First Peninsula. Mom was a very clean person, always polishing.
Reta is survived by sons, Ronald (Carolyn), Bayport, Kenneth, Riverport; daughter, Brenda (Wayne) Mosher, First Peninsula; grandchildren, Kevin (Nancy), Anne Marie (Tony), Chris (Shelley), Jason (Julie), Troy; great-grandchildren, Bailey, Aaron, Matthew (Kristine), Mallory (Jon), Thomas, Nicholas, Ethan; great-great-grandchildren, Carter, Rosalie, Skyler and Vash as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Murdock; daughter, Geraldine and brothers Herb and Cyril.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy #3, Lunenburg and from where funeral service will be held on Monday, January 14, at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Ron Frampton, officiating. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
