It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Renate, after a brief illness on February 10 surrounded by the love of her family. Beloved wife of the late Charles Elwood MacIntyre. Cherished mother of Susan Ling (Myles) and Irene Harding (David). Proud and loving Oma of Stephanie, Sean, Shanna, Elise, Deanna and Simon. Renate will be missed by her many family members in both Germany and Canada as well as her many friends.
Special thanks to the staff at Forest Hill and the Elmsmere Retirement Residence for their care and compassion.
A private family service and interment will take place at the Pinecrest Remembrance Centre.
For those who wish, memorial donations can be made to Freedom Dog Rescue would be appreciated.
