BORDEN, Pauline Raymonde (nee Dion)
Pauline died on February 11, 2019 peacefully at Eastholme at the age of 82 years. Pauline was the loving wife of the late Donald Borden and the devoted mother to Christopher, Gregory (Darlene), James, Jeffrey (Hillary) and Sylvia. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Alicia, Ethan and Julia. She was the youngest daughter of the late Ulrich and Rose Dion, and predeceased by her siblings Yvette, Walter, Dennis, Murray and her twin brother Paul. Pauline worked as a mail sorter at Canada Post for many years. Pauline enjoyed spoiling her family with elaborate meals, quilting and playing bridge. She was a devoted parishioner of the Pro Cathedral and C.W.L. member, always willing to serve and volunteer her time. The family will receive visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Thursday February 14, 2019 from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption on Friday February 15, 2019 at 10am. Inurnment will follow At All Saints Mausoleum. The family wishes to express their heart felt gratitude to Dr. Derek Ng and Dr. Jinnah Inez and all the wonderful Nurses and Staff at Eastholme for their excellent care and compassion.
