MARCHANT, Patricia Vadie
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington at the age of 81. Predeceased by her beloved husband Melville Marchant in 1997; her parents, Nelson and Anne Vaillancourt; and her sister Shirley O’Reilly and her husband Tom. Cherished mother of Leslie, Lindy, Michael and his wife Nishat, and Lizabeth, all of Burlington, and Laura of New York City. Beloved grandmother of Madeline, Jing and Harriet. A very special thank you to Patricia’s friends, Barb and Sharlene as well as Dr. Harrison and the caring staff at Cama Woodlands Long Term Care Home. In keeping with Patricia’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, BURLINGTON (632-3333).
