Patricia Kelly
1940-2019
Patricia Marion Kelly of Riverview, NB, passed away
peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at
the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton. Born
April 24, 1940 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late
Myles and Marion (Harding) Currie. Patricia was one of Jehovah’s
Witnesses and spent many years teaching people about the
Bible.
Patricia is survived by her loving
husband of 57 years, Kenneth Aubrey Kelly; daughter
Elizabeth de Groot (Christiaan) of Riverview, NB; son Kevin Kelly
(Leah) of Kanata, ON; and beloved grandchildren, Connor de Groot and
Gabriella de Groot; as well as nieces and nephews.
Patricia is also survived by two sisters; Marilyn
MacNeil (Wayne) of Antagonish, NS; Judith Hawkins of Fredericton, NB;
and brother Ross Currie (Laura) of Oromocto, NB.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February
9, 2019 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s
Witnesses, 25 War Veterans Ave., Moncton, NB at 2:00pm. A
reception will follow.
The family wishes to
thank the ICU staff at the hospital for their compassion and
attentive care.
