Obituary of Pat Lilly
LILLY, Pat – passed away peacefully at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at the age of 82 years.
Pat Lilly of Petawawa, loving wife of 60 years to Bill Lilly. Caring mother of Cindy Lilly, Leslie Lyons (Ken), Vicki-Lee Kelly (Pat) and Dawn Wallace (Tom). Nana of Danielle Rosien (Jason) & Trevor Leon (Theresa), Matthew Lyons (Jillian) & Kari-lyn Lyons (Wayne), Jason Kelly (Tara) and Kristen & Drew Wallace. Great-Nana to Walker, Christopher, Jack, Harper, Jordan, Finley, Mya, Rae and Fin. Daughter of the late Jack & Margaret Potter. Sister of Joan McCann and Joy Potter. Survived by her nieces and nephews.
Pat was a dedicated lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 517, Petawawa after joining in 1973. She was an honoured recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal and Palm Leaf for her outstanding service. Pat was a gracious community volunteer which included being a coordinator with Meals on Wheels.
Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Sunday, February 17, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at All Saint’s Anglican Church, Petawawa on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Spring Interment in All Saint’s Anglican Cemetery. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 517 are asked to assemble for a service at the funeral home on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to CHEO-Cameron Lavier Fund or Royal Canadian Legion Br. 517 would be appreciated.
