Norman Paul Levitt was born on April 29, 1923 on the family homestead near Senlac, Saskatchewan to William and Eliza Levitt. Norman was a farmer all his life. He enjoyed raising cattle and was devoted to his wife and family.
Norman passed away on February 15, 2019 at the Provost Health Centre at the age of 95 years.
Norman will be forever remembered and lovingly missed by his children, David (Jeannette), Margaret, and Marian (Steve) Thompson; sister, Ellen Halvorson; sisters in-law, Fay Cornish and Janet Riseley; brother-in-law, Jack Riseley; grandchildren, Michelle (Shane), Ian (Carly), Andrew (Nicole), Jeremy Jenkins, Brendan (Natasha), Jared (Kim) Erik, Jeremy (Natalie) and Lauren; great-grandchildren, Zachery, Gaven, Yaromir, Lucas, Robin, and one expected in May; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Norman was predeceased by his wife, Kathleen; parents, Bill and Lizzie Levitt; brothers, William and Alvin (Mable); sister, Jean Cornish (John); sister-in-law, Nora; brothers-in-law, George Eyben and Alfred Halvorson.
