Mary Lou Crichton passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on February 12, 2019, in her 74th year. Beloved mom of Tara and Kim (Mike), grandmother to Blair, Jordan, Amelia and Zach, and Gigi to Myah, Bryson and Cienna. Beloved daughter of Marion and the late Robert Pettigrew. She will be dearly missed by her brothers Brian, Randall (Deb) and Cam (Penny) and her sister Loralee (Simon) and the late Dixie Lee, and her many nieces and nephews including her goddaughter Maggie. Mary Lou loved spending time reading, playing and doing crafts with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed cuddling and walking her dog Cooper and spending time relaxing in her garden. All of her family enjoyed her special recipes including shortbread, trifle and peanut butter balls. Mary Lou was fortunate to receive the gift of a kidney, which allowed her many more years with her family. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The Memorial Service for Mary Lou will be held in Ostrander’s Chapel on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 10:00 am. with Pastor Paul Robinson officiating. In lieu of flowers please send memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or the Dave Johnson Memorial Dog Park by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg, ON N4G 3T6 (519) 842-5221 who are entrusted with arrangements.
