Marlene Beatrice Dawson (nee McRae)
1936-2019
Passed peacefully, in hospital, with her loving husband John of 65 years by her side, on Wednesday, February 6, 2019. Cherished mother of Jeffrey (Jenny), Richard (Lori), Jane Blanchette (Dan), Linda Dumoulin (Rene) and Albert. Dearest grandmother of Becky Whelan (Ryan), Molly Topp (Duncan), Sam Dawson (Shauna), Kimberley Dawson (Kyle Lamothe), Scott Dawson, Sarah Katzmier, Shawn Katzmier, Mark Blanchette, Marley Skaf (Andrew), Amelia Mask (Daniel), Krista Mattesz (Landon) and Alison Dumoulin (Kyle Jordan). She will be missed by 9 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her brother J.A. McRae (Maryann). Survived by her brother Babe McRae (Donna). Sister-in-law to Helen Mills (late John), Joan Garland (late Bruce), Betty Birtch (Robert) and the late Norma Montagano (late Earl).
A special thank you to the staff of the Ottawa-Carleton Dialysis Clinic for their compassion and care.
Memorial Service to be held on Tuesday, February 12th at Saint John the Baptist Anglican Church, 67 Fowler, Richmond ON, at 11:00 am. Reception to follow at the Richmond Legion, 6430 Ottawa St., Richmond ON.
