Obituary of Margaret Garnett
It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Margaret Anne Garnett, age 73, on Thursday, January 31, 2019 in the Wolfville Nursing Home. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Marjorie (Zinn) Caldwell.
Marg “Little Nan” was joyfully employed at Pizza Delight, Greenwood until her retirement. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crafting, bingo and especially spending time with her children. Her youngest great-grandchild, Miss Lacey Love, put a twinkle in her eyes like never seen before.
Marg is survived by her daughter Cindy Garnett (Darrell Hudson) of Waterville; granddaughter Jade Marsh (Christopher) and great-grandchildren Jamal, Lucus, Leo and Lacey Love of Shearwater; grandson John Lee Garnett-Saunders (Jessica) and great-grandson Caleb of Kingston; also, surviving are siblings Elizabeth Caldwell of Berwick; Craig (Kim) Caldwell of Harmony; Marina Pineo; nieces and nephews; and a very dear friend Johanne Perreault.
Mom… Nan… Marg will be greatly missed for her warm smiles and sarcastic humor. Rest in Peace our Love.
Interment will take place in the North Kingston Cemetery this Spring. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
