It is with heavy hearts and tears that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of Margaret at Royal Jubilee Hospital with her family by her side, January 28, 2019 at the age of 84.
Margaret is predeceased by her parents Ralph and Viola Moss, her brother Frank, and sister Shirley. Margaret was a wonderful wife to her husband Fred of 64 years: a loving mother to Linda (Chris) and Fred (Diana), and a very special “Nana” to Jared (Mariah), Derek and Alexis. Margaret will be immensely missed by her family, relatives and many friends. Margaret was an incredible oil painter, she loved to sew, and knit and she especially loved her grandchildren, and she rarely missed her grandson’s lacrosse games. In 1952, she met Fred, the love of her life and they married April 9, 1955. Together they were active members with the Capital City and Shrine Yacht Clubs, cruised for over 26 memorable years on the Linmar; she was also a member of Daughters of the Nile, and worked for Turner Dental Labs for over 40 years as a registered dental technician.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Margaret at Capital City Yacht Club, 10630 Blue Heron Road, North Saanich, BC (across from Parkland school) Saturday, February 9th at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in the memory of Margaret to Gizeh Shriners of British Columbia and Yukon Child Transportation Fund #102-4238 Lozells Avenus, Burnaby BC V5A 0C4
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Margaret Daisy Leak March 1 1934 January 28 2019 (age 84)..
