Obituary of Madeleine Clements
CLEMENTS: Iva Madeleine
Passed away peacefully at Canterbury Gardens, Peterborough, with her family by her side on Friday, February 22, 2019 in her 100th year. Madeleine was born in Warsaw, Ontario weighing only 2.5 lbs. She was raised by her grandparents. She married Joe Clements and they were married for 63 years. They had three children together; Lorraine, Delores, and Chris. Madeleine and Joe lived in Victoria for a while before moving back to Norwood. Madeleine loved to quilt, collect teddy bears and do jigsaw puzzles. Madeleine and Joe enjoyed travelling together in their trailer. She is loved and missed by her children Lorraine Johnson (Les), Delores Rutherford (Jim), Chris (Marrion) and their families. She is also missed by her grandchildren Linda, Bonnie, Billy, Greg, Julie, Randy, Kim, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Survived by her brother Ralph Clements. Predeceased by her husband Joe (2004) and sisters Muretta and Doris. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, NORWOOD CHAPEL, 36 Queen Street, Norwood on Tuesday February 26, 2019 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 11:00 AM. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of Christ Church Anglican, Norwood. Interment Asphodel-Norwood Cemetery in the spring. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Norwood or Christ Church Anglican, Norwood as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-639-5322.
