Obituary of Lloyd Schoenthal
Lloyd Lorne Schoenthal, Regina, Saskatchewan, passed away at home February 19, 2019 at the age of 78. Lloyd is predeceased by his loving wife Joy Schoenthal, parents Orval George Schoenthal and Marie Virginie Lavallee. He is survived by his children Tracey Hassman (Joe), Mikale White (Dennis); step-son Larry McDonald, Lloyd Janes, George Lerat (Shelley), Chris Lerat (Melanie), and step children with Pearleen Lerat: Janice Thompson, Jamie Lerat, Janine Lerat, Joanna Landry and Jarvis Pelletier and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lloyd was born February 1, 1941 in Regina. Lloyd spent his life as an addictions counselor working with MACSI, helping numerous people with his generosity and compassion which was greatly respected. Lloyd is recognized in his field for his continuous commitment to health and wellness and the betterment of the community. Lloyd loved spending time with his family and friends. He had a great love for animals and will be missed by his loving dogs Spike and Gucci. Lloyd enjoyed playing billiards and darts and had fond memories of the matches he played. An interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Regina Humane Society in the memory of Lloyd. His quick wit, sense of humor and a thundering laugh that filled the room will be greatly missed by all that loved him.
