Kenneth “Ken” Elwood Zurbrigg, of Kincardine, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, on Monday, February 18th, 2019 at the age of 78.
Cherished husband and best friend of Kendra Zurbrigg (née Davidson).
Beloved father of Julie Zurbrigg and Kathy (Chris Lee) Zurbrigg and step-father of Michele Lee, Kelly Krauter, and Curtis Krauter.
Missed by his grandchildren Hannah Large, Rory Large, Paige Zurbrigg, Leah Zurbrigg and Cecilia Lee.
Fondly remembered by his brother Lyle (Jennifer) Zurbrigg, sisters Shirley (Glenn) Lamb and Thelma Bode, sister-in-law Donna Riddell, brothers-in-law Gerald (Verna) Schenk and Garnet (Alice) Schenk and mother-in-law Gertrude Davidson.
He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by his wife Joan Zurbrigg (née Schenk), parents Cecil and Mabel Zurbrigg and brothers-in-law Don Bode and Ken (Wilma) Schenk.
Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home on Thursday, February 21st, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.. The funeral service will be at the Funeral Home on Friday, February 22nd, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Gord Dunbar officiating.
A celebration of Ken’s life will be held at a later date in the spring for those family and friends that are unable to attend the funeral service.
Final resting place, Kincardine Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Kincardine United Church or Kincardine Ministerial Food Bank would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
