MULLEN, Kathryn Mabel- age 95, of the Villa St Joseph du Lac and formerly of Wellington passed away peacefully at the Villa on February 9,2019. Born in Wellington on September 11, 1923 she was a daughter to the late Ernest and Florence (Cook) Brittain. Kathryn was a member of the Hebron Baptist Church and worked at the Yarmouth Royal Store as well as the Braemar Lodge. She is survived by her son, Tony (Carolyn) Mullen, Wellington; granddaughter, Wendy and 3 great grandchildren. She was the last surviving member other immediate family and besides her parents was predeceased by her husband Leslie; son, Bradford; brothers, Ralph, Joe, Harry, Percy, Neil and sisters, Geneva Scoville, Ruth Hatfield, Lillian Pierce, Ida Chipman. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A memorial service will be held Thursday February 14, 2019 at 2 P.M. from Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. A.D. “Bill” Newell officiating. Interment will be held in the spring in Riverside Cemetery in Hebron. In lieu of flowers donations in memory may be made to the Villa St. Joseph du Lac.
