Obituary of JOSEPH SKOBLENICK
SKOBLENICK, Joseph – Passed away peacefully at Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday February 6, 2019 of Waterford at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Vera (Kowalchuk). Loving father of Nick (and Luba), Harry (and Brenda), Allan (and Carol), daughter-in-law Josephine (and the late Steve) Skoblenick. Proud Gigi of Ryan, Aaron (and Danika), Christopher (and Karley), Laura, Alison, Stephanie (and Roger), Kevin (and Stevi), Janice, Jordan, Jill, and great grandchildren Aleks, Eric, Malcolm, Elliot, and Story. Predeceased by brothers Michael, William, and sisters Pauline, Carol, Kay, Mary, and Annie. Joseph devoted his life to his family and farming working along side his wife Vera. Joseph was proud to serve on the Police Auxiliary in Brantford and had a passion for fishing with his grandchildren. Friends may be received at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford on Monday February 11, 2019 from 7-9pm with Parish Prayers in the chapel at 6:30pm. Mass of a Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish on Tuesday February 12, 2019 at 10:30am. Fr. Lucio Couto officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to Waterford Camp Trillium or charity of your choice
