It is with great sadness that the family of the late Josephine Dacey announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Saturday February 9th 2019 a few days shy of her 89th birthday. She will be sadly missed by her children: Ronnie(Sylvia), Francis (Dee), Debbie (Keith), Linda (Don) and Wayne (Veronica), her grandchildren: Kim, Cheryl, Sacha, Jeannine, Melissa, Tamara, Jeremy, Alicia, Jordan, Jessica, Angelisa, Anna-Mireilla, her great-grandchildren; Zachery, Matthew, Caleb, Aisha, Noah, Andrew, Kaylynn, Chloe, Keira, Lauren, Hannah, Julianna and Jack, her brother Jerome (Madonna) Maloney, her three sisters; Terry (Bernie) White, Loretta Hollohan and Sadie Maloney and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Mike, her sisters Marion and Dorothy (Dot), her brothers John and Andrew. The family will be receiving friends at Russell’s Funeral Home in Stephenville on Monday February 11th from 7-9 pm and on Tuesday February 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday February 13th at 10 am from St. Stephen’s Parish on West Street with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on the Hansen Highway. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted.
Please be advised that due to family members have allergies to scents, we respectfully ask the public to refrain from wearing scented products when visiting with family at the Funeral Home.
