Joseph B. Travis
1953-2019
The death of Joseph Bernard Travis of Aroostook occurred on Friday
February 22, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton.
Born December 17, 1953 in Woodstock, he was the son of the late
Bernard and Margaret (Kilfoil) Travis.
Joseph is survived by his wife Ruth Trafford; 1 son Bernard
“BJ” Travis (Robyn)and their children Eldon Travis, Viktor
Travis; 4 step children, Denise, Carrie, Kristie and Peter; 7 grand
children, Brody Greene, Ben Greene, Hannah McBrine, Ethan McBrine,
Aiden Dickinson, Landen Dickinson, Willa Dickinson. Penny Fleury of
Shediac, the sister he always wanted.
Joseph was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Visitation will be held from St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church,
Johnville on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 from 4-8 pm. Mass of
Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at
11:00 am from St. John the Evangelist Church, Johnville. Fr. Gilbert
Doddatto as celebrant. The interment will be in the Johnville Cemetery
at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations made to the Johnville
