Life Story for
John Alexander McClumpha
McClumpha, John Alexander – After a long, brave battle with cancer, John passed away peacefully at the age of 64. John will be forever missed by his wife Elizabeth, best daughter ever, Jamie Warren and the best grandchildren ever, Mason and Violet Warren. John was brother-in-law to Mary (Gord) Joudrey, uncle to Dylan, Ashley, and Brandon and cousin to Sue Doan. John was predeceased by his mother and father Margaret and Alex McClumpha, mother-in-law Doreen Head and cousin Don Doan. John was born in Toronto. He joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in 1973 and retired after 32 years of service in 2006. John was the best husband, father and grandfather ever. His greatest joy was going to activities for Mason and Violet and loved watching them play soccer. Many thanks to friends and colleagues for keeping in touch, supporting us and your acts of kindness. You will never be forgotten. Thank you to Dr. Kim and the wonderful Palliative team for their care and kindness.
Family will receive friends at the MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street on Friday March 1st from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, followed by a memorial service at noon in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Lundy’s Lane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, War Amps, Operation Smile or a charity of your choice.
