Castle, Jerry Lorne – Age 71 of Wittenburg, passed away February 10, 2019 in Musquodoboit Valley Memorial Hospital, Middle Musquodoboit. Born in Carrolls Corner, he was a son of the late Jack and Shirley Castle.
Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Helena (McCully); sons, Andrew (Tosha), Hilden; Edward (Nancy), Stewiacke; daughter, Rachel (Danny) Flynn, Truro; grandchildren, Jacquelyn, Jarrett, Sabrina, Marissa, Cohen, Hope; great-granddaughter, Rory; brothers, Donald (Marjorie), Chaswood; Lee (Marilyn), Fletchers Lake; Phil (Darlene), New Glasgow; Perry, Middle Musquodoboit; sisters, Marion Wilcox and Kay Williams, both of Dartmouth. He was predeceased by brother, Alvin; sister-in-law, Dolores; brother-in-law, Leonard Wilcox.
Cremation has taken place. The family will meet friends on Saturday from 2-4 p.m. downstairs in Gays River United Church. Burial will be at a later date in Mountain View Cemetery, Wittenburg. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
