It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jeffrey Peter Eatmon announce his unexpected passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, February 1, 2019. He was born in Saint John, NB on March 28, 1967 to the late Joan Eatmon and Carl Whittaker.
He liked to listen to music and go shopping for stereos at Value Village, and he loved wrestling. Jeffrey enjoyed going to hockey games and seeing friends and family and was a generous and giving person. He was a wonderful brother, uncle, cousin and friend and he will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
Jeff is survived by his two brothers; Daniel and Thomas Eatmon and his sister Ella “Penny” (Kevin) Anderson, special nieces and nephew Lemanda, Matthew and Melissa, with other nieces and nephews as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Francis Blair “Tony” Eatmon, and his brother and best friend Michael Eatmon in November of 2018.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) where visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8pm. A funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 3:30pm. Memorial donations in Jeffrey’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, the Canadian Cancer Society, the Diabetes Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by his family.
