Brockwell (Hill) Jean Marie, passed away surrounded by her family at Greater Niagara General Hospital on Saturday February 9, 2019, 87 years young. Beloved wife and friend of 65 years to Don Brockwell. Dearly loved mother of Derek (Laura), Craig (Theresa), Paul (Cathy deceased) and Chris (Jenny Smith). Cherished grandmother of Chad, Colton (Stephanie), Allyssa, Rebecca, Jeremiah (Kristyn Robins), Mateo (Krystal Burt), Matthew, Emily, Kurtis (Jessica Beechman), and Cameron (Kristen Duncan). Beloved great grandmother of Ella, Hunter Allan, Hilary, Anakin Cooper Ferdinand, Liam, and Leo. Predeceased by parents Cecil and Marie Hill, and sister Barbara. Loving sister of Evelyn Bailey. Friend to sister-in-law Pat Lamb. Loving aunt of Alan & (Lynne) Steele, Ginger & (Louis) Steenkamp, Kevin & (Pat) Steele, Connie Couling, Tracie & (Joe) Sferrazza, Vern & (Jane) Farewell, Valerie & (Nelson) Cuthbert, Scott & (Omar Zayid), Jamie & (Alexis Dobranowski) as well as many great nephews and nieces and great great nephews and nieces. Jean was a smart, beautiful and caring person who will be sorely missed by her family and by her many, many cherished friends.
There will be no visitations at this time, however as per her wishes there will be a celebration of life on her birthday May 16, 2019. Notice will be provided by phone, email and notice in the paper beforehand. Her entire family and friends will tremendously miss this lovely, kind, and generous lady. Special thank you to the comfort and care provided by the staff at Greater Niagara General Hospital as well as the dialysis unit at the St. Catharines General Hospital.
