Jane Park “Jean” Elliott, age 87, of Stratford, passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on February 1, 2019. Born in Glasgow, Scotland daughter of the late James and Jane Weir.
Beloved wife of the late William Elliott. Loving mother of Jane Hefkey, Linda Elliott, Pamela Smythe and David Elliott. Grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Also survived by cousins Gordon Balmain, Ann Reynolds and special friends Maria and Chantalle. Predeceased by children Ronald and Lorraine, granddaughter Melanie, sisters Ennis Brown, Catherine Manners and by a nephew Paul.
In keeping with Jean’s wishes cremation will take place. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of one’s choice through the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford. 519.271.7411 www.wgyoungfuneralhome.com
