EYRES, James (Jim) Laurence – entered into rest at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre in Peterborough on Saturday, February 16, 2019. Jim, in his 86th year, was the beloved husband of Germaine (nee Paquette). Much loved dad of April Martin, Randy (Jayne) Eyres, Jamie (Donna Lynne) Eyres and Jill Eyres (Gord Kimpton) . Dear step-father of Wayne (Noella) Angiers, Jackie (Mike) O’Connell, Brad (Dianne) Angiers, Cathy Ferguson (Tom Litherland), Reg (Sheila) Angiers and Joannie Nicholls (Al Bales). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, great grandchildren and by his step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents William Eyres and Marretta Tamblin and by his brothers Harry and Bert Eyres. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. In keeping with Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Stoddart Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay K9V 2L1 (705-324-3205) on Saturday, February 23rd from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 12:00 noon. Spring interment later at Eden Cemetery, Cambray. If desired, memorial donations to The Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints would be appreciated.
