Obituary for Mrs. “Jacq” Jacquleen Katherine Mary Hendry
(nee Lipsett) Passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side, on Monday, February 25th, 2019 at the age of 80. Jacquleen, beloved wife of Eric for 61 years. Loving mother of Bill (Sylvia), Annette Shaw (Mike) and Gary (Jill). Dear Grandma of Christa (Shawn) Smith, Jeremy (Jennifer) Shaw, Eric (Sarah) Hendry, Sarah (Nathan) Couet and Great-grandma Cambria, Mykelti, Finleigh and Callum. Dear sister of Albert James (Ab) Lipsett (Lois deceased) friend Linda Crandall, Charles Clifford (Cliff) Lipsett (Gail, deceased), and Donna Shortt (Jim). Predeceased by her parents Albert C. Lipsett, SGT 20th Bn, WWI in 1979 and Elsie P Hood in 1986. Jacquleen will always be remembered for her love of gardening and farming, new ideas, and her best 4 legged friend Bailey. Jacquleen served on the board of the OFA, and was a hairdresser for over 32 years, Tiara Hair Salon. A favourite expression, “See you next time around”. Jacq, will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Spring interment of ashes at the Lakeview Cemetery, Meaford, ON. Donations may be made to the Salvation Army or HGT – Campbell House.
