Jack (John G.) Sweezey
1937-2019
Passed away in Fredericton on February 22, 2019. Survived by
his wife, Faye; son, Jacob (Lisa Todd); grandchildren, Benjamin and
Anna; brother, Kenneth. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and
Evelyn (Cohoon) Sweezey; sister Marion Gillis, and brother,
Frank.
Jack worked 25 years in the public school system of New
Brunswick and 7 years with the Department of Education as a Provincial
Consultant in English. He also taught extension and summer classes for
the faculty of Education – University of New Brunswick.
At the request of the family, there will be no visitation or
funeral service. Interment will be in the Hermitage Cemetery.
Donations in Jack’s memory may be made to the Diabetes Association,
Heart and Stroke Foundation or Children’s Wish Foundation.
