Obituary of Ivy King
Passed away on Feb. 12, 2019, Ivy Manecia King at the Carmelite House Pallative Care Unit, at the age of 86 years. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas King; granddaughter, Natasha White; parents: Hilda and Wilbert Freake; parents-in-law, Victor and Ellen King; brothers-in-law: Cyril Stone and Rex Champion. She leaves to mourn her sons: Robert (Joanne), David (Flora), Tom Jr. (Debbie), Darren (Cheryl), Todd (Margaret); daughters: Glenda (Kevin) Antle and Keena (Tony) Reid; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She also leaves her sisters: Louise (Don) Baird; Madeline Stone, Betty (Lindahl) Faulkner; brothers: Wilbert (Doris) Freake, Gerry (Jackie) Brown and a circle of other relatives and friends.
Pastor Greg Patey will conduct a private family service at Hoskins Funeral Home on Thursday, Feb. 14 with cremation taking place followed by interment at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Sunset Drive. Bishop’s Falls.
Donations in her memory can be made to the Lionel Kelland Hospice, Grand Falls-Windsor.
