Isamu ‘Sam’ Imayoshi April 14 1924 February 22 2019 (age 94)

Isamu ‘Sam’ Imayoshi was born in Summerland, BC on April 14, 1924 and passed away peacefully on February 22, 2019 at Dr. Andrew Pavilion in his 95th year. He will be missed by his sisters Michiko ‘Mit’ (Jack) of Abbotsford, BC and Jean (Yoshihiro) of North Bay, ON; brother-in-law Yoshio of Vancouver, BC; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother Rev. Katsumi ‘Kutch’ Imayoshi and sister Sumiko ‘Sue’ Arai.
Sam was an orchardist all his life and was generous with his produce to several organizations. He worked hard and cared for his parents until their passing. He enjoyed baseball, curling, and golf.
Special thanks to Dr. Bull and the caring staff at Dr. Andrew Pavilion where he spent his last three years.
As per Sam’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. A memorial will take place at a later date.
