Inez Thompson Flanagan, age 94, of Flanagan’s Corners, passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Sunday, February 4, 2019. Born in Downie Township, daughter of the late James and Agnes (Thompson) Ballantyne. Predeceased by her husband John Flanagan (March 1984). Loving mother of Jim Flanagan, David (Barb) Flanagan. Proud grandmother of Doug (Karen), Rob (Vanessa), Ashley (James) Hayes, Tammy (Jason)McCurdy, Randy Flanagan and great-grandmother of Meaghen, Faith, Liam, Ewen, Mikayla, Mackayla, Jack, Sarah, Austin, Hazel, Henry and Reese. Inez will be fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law Helene Ballantyne and Helen Flanagan as well as her many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Inez was predeceased by her sister Helen (Ralph) Schellenberger and her brother Allan Ballantyne, along with many brothers and sisters-in-law of the Flanagan Family. Friends and family may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Friday, February 8th at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service.
