Heon Andre J February 12 2019

April 25, 1931- February 12, 2019
André died peacefully and unexpectedly in his sleep at the age of 87. He is pre-deceased by his parents Charles Héon and Therese Grégoire, brother Charles, and sister Françoise. He is survived by his children Danièle, Élise and François; their mother (Lucile Beaubien); and many relatives, friends and colleagues. André was the proud founder and president of Eonizer Inc., an automobile rustproofing company that had several shops in Montreal and one franchise in Guadeloupe. He was creative, original, and passionately determined to find solutions to problems. He loved the arts and was a consummate newspaper reader and collector. He will be remembered for his remarkable persistence that kept him at the helm of his company until his death. The family is grateful to Céline Lacouture et Laura Taylor from CLSC Metro, Dr. Wassim Kassouff of MUHC, the Institut de gériatrie de Montréal, the Richardson Rehabilitation Hospital, the RI LaSalle Pavilions residence, as well as to his work colleagues.
A funeral mass will be held at Église Notre-Dame-de-Grâce on Saturday, March 2nd. The mass will be held at 2 PM and the family will greet guests beforehand starting at 1 PM (5333 ave. Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Montreal). A gathering will be held in the parish hall after the mass.
