WELTEN, Hendrikus ‘Harry’
Tragically in Ottawa on Thursday February 14, 2019 at age 59 years. Harry Welten of Crysler, born in Moergestel, Netherlands. Loving husband of Marian (Nooyen) Welten. Proud and devoted father of Cassandra Falk (Dylan), Vanessa Welten, and the late Samantha Welten. Son of Antonia (Van de wal) Welten and the late Adrian Welten. Brother of Jack (Mieke), Bert, and Joey (Darlene). Opa to grandchild Elias. Accomplished long-distance runner, tireless advocate of women’s hockey, and relentless champion for his girls. Visitation will be held at the Brownlee Funeral Home, 18 Front Street, Finch on Wednesday February 20 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of the Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Crysler on Thursday February 21 at 11 am. Memorial donations to the Cornwall Girls Hockey Association or the Roger Neilson House would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences may be made at www.brownleefuneralhomes.com.
