BELL, Helen Joan – Entered into rest peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in her 87th year. Helen was the beloved wife of the late Maurice Bell (2011). Loving mother of Doug and his wife Tracey, Donald, Marilyn and her husband Peter Goerzen and Barb and her husband Paul Finney. Cherished grandmother of Kimberly (Shawn), Julie (James), Angela (Mike), the late Brad, Kyle, Laura, Jessica (Jacob), Lauren (Trevor), Arden (Riley), and Stacey (Sam). Great-Grandmother of Jaxxon, Kenyoun, Finleigh, Tristan, Charlotte, Leyton, Kinsley, Piper, Evie and Gus. Helen is survived by her siblings Hazel, Jimmy, Donnie, Les, Donna, Shirley and Gus. Predeceased by her siblings Marjorie, Jack, and Elaine. Forever loved by the Bell family, along with her extended family and friends. The family wishes to thank the Hazel Ferguson for all her special visits and to the wonderful staff at the Ross Memorial Hospital for their help during this difficult time. Visitation will take place at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Friday, February 22nd at 10:30. Interment will take place in the spring at Mount Horeb Cemetery. If desired, a memorial donation may be made to the Mount Horeb United Church or the Alzheimer Society of Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated by the family.
