MILLER, Harrison Laird (Bud)
Entered into rest Tuesday, January 15, 2019 in his 82nd year.
Survived by his loving wife, Carol and his family, Scott and Suzie, Mark and Carrie, Glen and Tracy and Grandsons, Cahl, Jesse, Jared and Wayd Miller. Also survived by his sisters, Donalda and her husband Don Emerson and Mary and her husband Edd Poodrey, Brothers-in-law, Bill and his wife Diane Lamoure and Blake Hoover. Predeceased by his sister, Edna Hoover. He will also be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and cousins. Bud was involved in many organizations over the years, and was one of the co-founders of the Caledonia Corvair Hockey Club. He was humbled to receive the Caledonia Regional Chamber of Commerce Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014. Bud will always be remembered for his commitment to the Corvairs and for his love of the game of golf, especially enjoying the golf trips to North Carolina with his family and friends. He always enjoyed the company of his beloved dogs, but his greatest love was of family and his endearment and pride he had for his four grandsons. Visitation will take place in the MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, Caledonia, on Friday, January 18, 2019, from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm, followed by the service in the chapel on Saturday, January, 19 at 2p.m. Interment in Caledonia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Riverside Exhibition Centre, c/o (Caledonia Agricultural Society151 Caithness St. E. Caledonia, ON N3W 1C2) or the Caledonia Food Bank (103 Inverness St. Caledonia, ON N3W 1B5) would be appreciated by the family.
