1923-2019
The death of Harlan
William Wilson, 95, of Fredericton, and formerly
Sackville, occurred on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at the Veteran’s
Health Unit, Fredericton.
Born in Lyon’s Brook, NS, Harlan was a son of the late
Moody and Lillian (Daigle) Wilson.
Harlan was a dedicated member of the
Canadian Armed Forces, having served overseas during World War II.
He will be sadly missed by his children,
Allison (Sharon) Wilson, Jolicure, Gordon (Sharla) Wilson, Brandon,
MB, Stephen, Dauphin, MB, and Elizabeth (Dave) Hamilton, Fernie, BC;
grandchildren, Jason, Angela, Mark, Tammy, Jennifer and Michael, as
well as several great grandchildren.
Besides his parents, Harlan was
predeceased by his first wife, Eileen (nee Dixon); his second wife,
Madeline (Robichaud); his son Robert, as well as his siblings, Walter,
Fraser, and Viola Trueman.
A heartfelt thank you is extended to Kim
Claire for her compassion and care for Harlan. Her kindness allowed Harlan to
remain in his own home for many years.
Arrangements are under the care and
supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70
Bridge Street, Sackville (506-364-1300). Honouring Harlan’s wishes,
there is to be no visitation or services. His remains will be interred in
the Point de Bute Cemetery in the spring.
Donations in memory of Harlan may be
made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
