It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late
GORDON JOSEPH COADY of Marystown, NL,
announce his passing on February 11, 2019 at the U. S. Memorial Health
Care Centre, St. Lawrence, NL, at the age of 67 years. Gordon is
predeceased by his loving wife Sheila (Hiscock), parents John and
Christina Coady, his brothers John Jr., Allan, his baby sister Joan,
his parents in law George and Jane Hiscock and nephew Jason
Tibbo.
Gordon will be lovingly remembered and missed by his
son Ian, the pride and joy of his life. Also leaving to mourn are his
brother Wallace (Ann), sisters Bernadette (Dennis) Dwyer, Patricia
(Roland) Riggs, Joan (Bill, deceased) Mayo, Evelyn (Gerry) Brown,
Lorraine (Gary) Taylor, Mary Ann (Ronald) Broderick, sisters in law
Betty Coady and Jennie (Fred) Tibbo.
He leaves fond and cherished memories to his many
nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly, especially Gwenda, as well
as his many relatives and friends.
Gordon’s family would like to thank the
staff of U. S. Memorial Health Care Centre for their care, compassion,
and friendship while he was a resident.
The Family will be receiving visitors at Wisemans Funeral
Home in Marystown on
Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019, from 2 pm – 9
pm
Thursday, Feb. 14, from 9 am – 9 pm
The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at the Sacred
Heart Roman Catholic Church, Marystown, on Friday, Feb. 15, 2019 at
10:30 am. Cremation will follow, with inurnment at a date to
be announced.
Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations, in
Gordon’s memory, may be made to
U. S. Memorial Health Care Centre, St.
Lawrence
or the Sacred Heart Cemetery Fund, Marystown.

Funeral Home, Marystown.
