Gloria S. Smith
1945-2019
The death of Gloria Sharon Smith of Lansdowne occurred on Monday,
February 18, 2019 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born
March 4, 1945 in Fosterville, she was the Daughter of the Late
Sedences and Alice Wood. She was also predeceased by her Husband,
Rainnie Smith; 1 Daughter, Lisa Tomah; 3 Brothers, Chalmers Wood, Gary
Wood and Walter Wood; 4 Sisters, Joyce Wood, Sheila Wood, Ione Glenn
and Inez Foster.
Gloria is survived by her 3 Daughters; Kimberly Foster(Meredith),
Shelly Johnston(Corey), Lesley Ogden(Nathan); 1 Son-in-Law, Matthew
Tomah(Nicole); 10 Grandchildren, Krystle Ross(Mark), Jeremy
Budrow(Katelyn), Courtney Tomah, Dakota Tomah(Randelle), Wade
Lawrence(Alexandra), Mattie Tomah(Alexandra), Brittney
Lawrence(Jimmie), Andrew Ogden, Allyson Ogden(Matthew), Dallas
Tomah(Ana); 5 Great Grandchildren, Harper Ross, Rayneanna Ogden,
Lilianna Hasson, Octavia Morehouse, Jaymee Hasson; 3 Sisters, Deanna
Anderson, Coleen Munn(Gary), and Claudia Brown(Jimmy); 4 Brothers,
Ivan Wood(Joan), Eugene Wood(Donna), Keith Wood(Phyllis) and Eldon
Wood(Karen) as well as several nieces, nephews and extended
family.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207
Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from
5-8 pm. Funeral service will be Friday, February 22, 2019 at 2:00 pm
from L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Pastor Leonard Cousins will
officiate. The interment will be in St Leo’s Cemetery at a later date.
Donations made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, NB Heart &
Stroke or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
