LAUZON, Georgette (née Pitre) – Mrs. Georgette Lauzon at Sandfield Place Long Term Care, Cornwall on Tuesday February 12, 2019 at the age of 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Wilfrid Lauzon. Loved daughter of the late Eusebe and Rachelle (née Doré) Pitre. Dear sister of Fleurette Brunet (Arcade), and Thérèse Pitre. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings Jean-Marie Pitre (late Lucille), Emile Pitre (late Vivian), Charles Pitre, and Yvette Snyder (late Lawrence). There will be no visitation. The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated in St. Thérèse de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, Cornwall on Saturday February 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Rite of Committal at a later date in Notre Dame Cemetery, Cornwall. If so desired contributions in her memory to the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation or Sandfield Place Residents Council would be appreciated by the family. The family wishes to acknowledge, with sincere thanks, the exceptional care provided by the staff of Sandfield Place, as well as Dr. Garrett Foley.
