POWELL, Florence Betty
Passed away peacefully in Ottawa with family by her side on Sunday, February 3, 2019. Born in North Bay, ON on October 26, 1932, she was the daughter of the late William and Laura Miller. She is predeceased by her husband John Gordon Powell, the love of her life for 66 years. She will be sadly missed by her children John (Sharon Malloy), Linda (Ralph Giekes), Laurie (Bruce Summers), Debra (Paul Brannen) Stephen (Grace Cascardo) and David (Cindy Cook). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, brother Dave and sister Mona. A special thank you to the staff at Carleton Lodge for the loving care and compassion shown to mom and our family. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Pinecrest Visitation Center, 2500 Baseline Rd., Ottawa on Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Carleton Lodge Auxillary.
