On February 17, 2019, Mr. George Elaschuk of Edmonton passed away at the age of 95 years. He is survived by his daughter & 2 sons, Janice (Terry) Kindrat and their children, Katie & Kevin, Jeff (Sandy) and their children, Hailey & Carson, Rod (Bonnie) and their children, Ashley & Steven (Patricia); numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Kay in 1990; parents, William & Anna; 2 brothers, Steve (Kate) & Elmer; 3 sisters, Mary (Steve) Bezubiak, Eleanor (Steve) Babichuk & Dora (Alex) Krawchuk; nephew, Ryan Babichuk; niece, Diane Ure. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 22 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Elias Ukrainian Orthodox Church (11833-66 St NW), Edmonton. Reverend Father Roman Shiyan will be officiating with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Edmonton. If desired, donations may be made to Edmonton Symphony Society or a charity of one’s choice c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB. T0A 3A1.
